Time Out says

Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that venues remain open.

A wait is almost guaranteed for a seat at this small Japanese bar with a 100-strong sake selection. You won’t get much in the way of guidance from the staff, most of whom speak little to no English. Look to your neighbors for suggestions—we like the smooth, dry urakasumi paired with snacks like pickled squid and rice crackers. Those who choose to forgo the rice wine for more Western tipples might have better luck: Sex on the Beach in Japan is the same as it is anywhere else.
