What’s the best thing about being a bartender? Seeing someone's excitement at tasting or learning something new.
What’s the worst drink you’ve ever been asked to make? I will 100 percent make somebody whatever disgusting crap they want to drink because they’re paying for it. Once a tourist brought in an Applebee’s menu and showed me a Blue Hawaiian. I said, “I will get as close as I can, but unfortunately this color is not found in nature.”
What’s the craziest thing you’ve witnessed as a bartender? I saw an incredibly well-dressed man get overly intoxicated and vomit. He slipped and fell on the floor, went to stand up, but couldn’t because he was sliding all over the floor. Everyone asked him if he was okay and he said yes, but they all pointed to his mouth because he’d knocked one of his teeth out.
