Stars from the Great White Way perform gender-bent renditions of popular Broadway tunes.

"Madame Cézanne"The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Upper East Side, 10am. $25.
The Met surveys 20 years of work by giant of Post-Impressionist painting, by focusing on compositions featuring his favorite model: His wife. The show is the first to examine this intimate aspect of Cézanne's career which until now has been largely overlooked by art historians.

Brooklyn Poets Yawp; 61 Local, Cobble Hill, 6pm. $5. 
Like Walk Whitman, come sound your barbaric yawp. In the first hour, an accomplished poet leads a writing workshop, and in the second, all are welcome to share poems at the open mike.

The country's most beloved storytelling competition returns for a night of tales about cohabitation. Is hell just other people after all? That's the theme, so we guess you'll find out there. 

Heems + Sandunes + Rizzla; Santos Party House, Tribeca, 8pm. $15, advance $12. 
Queen's own  Himanshu Suri, of former Das Racist, rocks the party house in celebration of his debut solo LP. If any of his new tunes are as catchy as "Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell," you're in for a treat.

NY Drinks NY Grand Standing; Astor Center, Greenwich Village, 6pm. $40.
It's the fourth Annual NY Drinks NY Grand Tasting at the Astor Center, which means you can taste more than 100 wines all in one location. The New York Wine and Culinary Center will provide nosh, including barbecued meatballs, salmon lox on rye and a peach-riesling–glazed pork belly.

Known for the Capriccio party series, Alex From Queens brings his dance-floor–ready beats to the Flat, joined by William (99¢ Dreams) and Lost Soul Enterprises artists J Slusher and Jackson Lee (live).
