As already reported, the film lover's speciality chain Alamo Drafhouse is coming to Brooklyn—that day can't come soon enough. (No specific date yet, folks, just "summer 2016.")

Still, the drum beat is getting louder. Alamo recently announced that, prior to opening, the venue will be presenting three free outdoor screenings in Fort Greene Park (Washington Park and St. Edward St, Brooklyn).

The movies will begin at sunset—approximately 7:30pm—and will be preceded by "themed festivities."

The three titles are:

May 27 Best in Show (dog owners are encouraged to bring their own pets for a pre-movie dog show!)

June 3 Labyrinth (this is Alamo's famous Quote-Along version, complete with subtitles so you can sing with David Bowie)

June 10 Finding Nemo (costumes are encouraged and "surprises are in store")
