Amazon’s Prime Now will deliver groceries, cupcakes and more to your door in an hour

If you’re not a fan of Prime Now, here’s a new perk that will sweeten the deal. In addition to the thousands of items you can receive from Amazon in an hour (or less), Manhattan customers can now nab groceries, cooked meals and baked goods from D’Agostino, Gourmet Garage, and Billy’s Bakery through the app. Which is, like, super convenient because food delivery services like Seamless can’t do that.

The lighting-fast service is available for iPhone and Android users and the company plans to have more local business on-board overtime. You do need to pay $7.99 for the one-hour delivery, but it will be SO worth it once you receive a fresh box of Billy’s cupcakes on your doorstep in under 60mins, you guys.

On the days when you really want to get your money’s worth out of that expensive rent check you coughed up for your not-so-affordable apartment, Amazon is making it even easier to never leave home.
