Accio, original cast! This morning, it was announced that the stars of the London production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child are also coming to Broadway. The outstanding British play will finally arrive in NYC in 2018, bringing with it seven original cast members, appropriately.

And, yes, that includes the OG trio: In the NYC show, Jamie Parker will reprise his role as Harry Potter, Noma Dumezweni as Hermione Granger and Paul Thornley as Ron Weasley. There will also be Poppy Miller as Ginny Potter, Sam Clemmett as Albus Potter, Alex Price as Draco Malfoy and Anthony Boyle as Scorpius Malfoy, plus 28 new cast members.

This is not the first time NYC's played host to Brit imports: Several stars of London's Sweeney Todd revival were brought over here for the Off Broadway production earlier this year.

Cursed Child will begin previews at the Lyric Theatre in March 2018, and opening night will be April 22. Tickets for verified Ticketmaster users go on sale October 12, and you can register here.

Until then, we'll be at the castle in the park casting spells on squirrels.
