This summer, Del Posto's James Beard Award-winning pastry chef Brooks Headley accomplished the almost unthinkable: He made veggie burgers cool. At his Superiority Burger pop-up, Headley doled out quinoa-based patties hooded in Muenster and cheddar on Martin's potato rolls, a combo so good it not only spurred block-spanning lines but also nabbed the burger a spot on our list of 100 Best Dishes of 2014.
On December 25th, you'll be able to get your hands on the veg-loaded burger at Headley's Christmas pop-up in the original Dirt Candy space, starting at 3pm. Along with the eponymous burger, the holiday menu will include charred broccoli, tofu wraps, candy-cane gelato and satsuma sorbet. You should probably start getting in line now—this is bound to be one packed pop-up.
