Want to meet Jay and Silent Bob? Displaying some lovably lewd taste in 1995 cinema, Williamsburg's Nitehawk Cinema—in conjunction with Buzzfeed—will be screening Adam Sandler's immortally dumb Billy Madison on July 7 and Kevin Smith's unexpectedly sweet Mallrats on August 4. (Let highbrow institutions celebrate that other junk from 1995, stuff like Casino, Seven, Kids and Before Sunrise.)

Come to think of it, we dig their picks: Both films will be screened outdoors, at the Bushwick Inlet Park (Kent Ave at North 11th St), free of charge. Doors open at 5pm, and proceeds from food-and-drink sales will go toward protecting and developing the park, a good cause.

Best of all, actor Jason Mewes and writer-director Kevin Smith will do a prescreening Q&A before Mallrats. So bring your best Mallrats 2 questions: A sequel is actually happening, entitled Mallbrats. And yes, Shannen Doherty will be returning.
