Say you're looking to attend a drawing class, but are tired of sketching the usual art-school models. Or more to the point, say you want to brush-up on your comic-book art skills. If so, head over to Brooklyn Brewery tonight at 7:30pm for the latest in a series of drawing classes by Dare2Draw, a "non-profit mentoring and networking platform…[for] people interested in sequential art and comic books." Tonight's event is being billed as the "End-of-the-2014 Dare2Draw Season," and features guest artists, contests and giveaways—and oh yeah, models, though not like you think. Instead, they're cosplay afficianados wearing full regalia in action poses (which only make sense if you're creating cartoon panels, and are looking to include bad-ass superheroes and villains). The festivities run through 11:30pm and admission is $20, $25 at the door. So grab a pencil and give it a go. And who knows? You could be the next Stan Lee.
