Momofuku emperor David Chang proves, once again, that he knows how to grab headlines.

Just a month after making waves with the opening of the spicy-chicken-slinging Fuku, the restaurant group filed a liquor license application revealing new plans for a 68-seat space on 21st Street and Eight Avenue. Details are sparse at the moment, but the paperwork indicates that the restaurant will operate until 11pm on weekdays and 1am on weekends. There also appears to be a sidewalk café in the works.

While the exact nature of Chang's crosstown expansion is anyone's guess, we're not ruling out some magic by Milk Bar pastry maven Christina Tosi or a follow-up to one of Momofuku's other existing spots, which currently include Momofuku Noodle Bar, Momofuku Ssäm Bar, Má Pêche, Momofuku Ko and cocktail bar Booker & Dax
