The arrival of December means the holidays are just a few weeks away. To get a jump on celebrating the merry season, Rosemary’s is hosting its third annual tree lighting party on Thursday, Dec 4—complete with Caroling and Christmas garb.

From 6–8pm, the rustic West Village restaurant will serve complimentary cider spiked with sherry and hot chocolate hit with white port. There will also be virgin versions for kids, plus an assortment of house-made sweets like Russian tea cakes, peanut-butter cookies topped with Hershey kisses and frosted sugar cookies in tree and snowflake shapes. After a few rounds of spirited cocoa, head outside at 7:30pm to watch the tree, perched atop the restaurant's roof, light up with colored bulbs and glittering ornaments. Then hurry back inside for warmth and more booze.
