Who doesn’t love a good meat pocket? (Was that sexual?). Anyways, the 13th annual Dumpling Festival rolls into NYC on September 24, and we could not be more excited. Head to Sara D. Roosevelt Park (noon to 5pm) and munch on stuffed-dough creations including Kung Pao Pork with Kimchi, Lemongrass, Buffalo Chicken, Edamame as well as Kale and Vegetable dumplings.

There will also be a dumpling eating contest for men and women—first-place winners will take home $2,000! Click here to register. You’ll also have the opportunity to learn how to make your own meat pocket creations during a Dumpling Making Class. And let’s not forget endless photo opportunities with the adorable mascot “Dumpling Mama" as well as live music and entertainment.
Proceeds from the event, including the $20 registration fee for the eating contest, the dumpling making class and any dumplings you purchase will benefit the Food Bank for NYC.
