We all have our edible vices, whether they be gut-sticking savory plates or decadent sweets. Once in a while, these opposing worlds of flavor collide in unexpected yet delightful ways. From a meaty proscuitto donut to a mixed-vegetable ice cream sundae, here are five of the tastiest (and wackiest) savory-leaning desserts in NYC.

Vegetable ice cream salad at Dirt Candy
You won't have to eat your greens before dessert when they're one and the same. At Amanda Cohen's inventive, veggie-heavy eatery, find scoops of cool lettuce and cucumber sorbet, and yellow beet, grilled radicchio and goat cheese ice creams festooned with walnut cake croutons and dill sprinkles. $10

Garlic-bread croissant at Dominique Ansel Kitchen
The Cronut king continues to surprise in the realm of pastry, upgrading a basic sweet croissant with garlic seasoning and serving it with a warm rosemary olive oil. $4

Everything Bagel doughnut at Flex Mussels
Available on the brunch menu at the bivalve-focused seafood joint, four doughnut rounds are filled with rich scallion cream cheese and topped with classic everything-bagel seasoning. $12

Prosciutto-Guinness donut at Gossip Coffee
The newly opened Astoria cafe sources pastries from Masterchef alum Scottish Legge, including this fried doughnut tricked out Guinness stout and crumbles of salty prosciutto. $4.50

Bacon peanut brittles at The Redhead
Crunchy peanut brittle gets a meaty twist in this appetizer from the Southern-accented gastropub. Spicy cayenne and thyme seasoning round out sweet notes of maple syrup. Take a bag home for just a dollar more. $6
