By this point, you can watch free outdoor movies several times a week in virtually every borough—we've built this handy calendar just to keep track of them all. But there's nothing like Tompkins Square Park and that East Village attitude (and its proximity to Crif Dogs). "Free Films in Tompkins," now in its seventh year, follows suit with its Thursday night series, programmed with a ton of NYC attitude. Gates open at 6pm with DJs and/or live music. The movies begin around sundown (roughly 8:30pm this time of year). They'll be showing six weekly titles starting this Thursday with The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Here's the entire calendar:

July 7 The Rocky Horror Picture Show

July 14 Next Stop, Greenwich Village

July 21 Do the Right Thing

July 28 Wild Style

August 4 True Romance

August 11 Romeo + Juliet (the wild Baz Luhrmann version)
