Friends cast to reunite, television gods answer prayers

Could we BE any more excited? The six original cast members of Friends—Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, lest you forgot—will reportedly reunite on NBC during a two-hour special honoring legendary sitcom director James Burrows, who recently directed his milestone 1,000th episode of television. (Burrows directed 15 episodes of Friends, including the pilot.) 

And if pipe-dream "Smelly Cat" sing-alongs aren't enough to get you riled up, the star-studded telecast will also reunite casts of fellow Burrows-directed series including Taxi, Cheers, Will & Grace and Frasier. The special will air Sunday, February 21st at 9pm on NBC.
