If you haven’t heard, adult slides are now a thing around the world, which is great news for all the “big” kids out there. To make you feel even more nostalgic, try taking a whirl down this 1,000-foot slip and slide coming to upstate New York this summer.
The event dubbed Slide the City created by Sack Lunch Productions is basically one giant block party equipped with the aforementioned 1,000-foot water slide (don’t worry, it’s extra-cushioned), inflatable tubes, live music, food and drinks.
The ride begins on August 27th at 9am in Nyack, NY (only one hour and 12mins from NYC), at N Midland Avenue and Main Street. Tickets cost $35, but that’s well worth it since you’ll receive unlimited rides for three hours. Get your tickets here.
