With buzz already deafening for the all-female Ghostbusters due July 15 (even Dan Aykroyd has outed himself as a fan), why not pay your proper respects to the original 1984 classic? Beginning Wednesday June 8 and running for only three days, BBQ Films will be presenting an immersive Ghostbusters experience at Williamsburg's Villain (50 North 3rd St, Brooklyn).

What exactly will you find when you show up at 7pm? We won't ruin all of it for you, but BBQ Films prides itself on what it calls a "transportive" experience. That means a set re-creation of the famous Ghostbusters HQ, technical training with film-realistic ghostbusting gear (don't cross streams!), tutorials from paranormal experts, a haunted photo booth, a limited-edition event poster and more.

And of course, there will also be a screening of the movie itself—you can't underestimate the power of seeing this film with a crowd. Tickets run $42–$47 for all the above; an additional $30 gets you reserved seating for the screening, two adult "ecto-beverages" and a commemorative gift. Buy your tickets right here.
