The worst part about dining in Harlem is deciding which fantastic restaurant to eat at next. Luckily, you won’t have to play favorites this weekend at the third annual Harlem EatUp! Festival where dozens of the best and most buzz-worthy Uptown restaurants come together for a delectable feast.

The celebration kicks off on Friday night with Dine In Harlem ($88-$250), a series of dinner parties hosted at several of the nabe’s most celebrated restaurants, including Ginny’s Supper Club, LoLo’s Seafood Shack, Minton’s and Chaiwali. Each of these events includes a menu specially crafted by the restaurant’s chef and a guest chef, wine pairings and entertainment.

On Saturday and Sunday (12:30-5:30pm) the festivities come to the beautiful Morningside Park for the Harlem Stroll, where many neighborhood eateries converge to offer tastings of their most savory, spicy, and sweet dishes. Visitors 21-years-and-older can opt for a “Ultimate Grand Tasting” ticket ($85), which gives them all-you-can eat access to the tastings, as well as beers, wines, and cocktails. Those looking to save some money can also opt for the free-admission pay-as-you-go Marketplace, which will also has access to the beer and wine garden and the vendors.

While at the Harlem Stroll be sure to check out the main stage where local culinary heroes like Marcus Samuelsson (Red Rooster, Streetbird Rotisserie),  Karl Franz Williams (Solomon & Kuff) and Darryl Burnette (Belle Harlem) will be doing live cooking demonstrations. Other highlights include performances, merchandise and local businesses selling their wares.

Special events start today, May 16. For tickets, Dine In reservations, and a complete list of participants go to harlemeatup.com.
