Head uptown today to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade balloons get inflated

Are you starting to feel a little bit more… thankful? Can you smell that slight hint of turkey in the air? That's because it's almost Thanksgiving, yo!

It also means the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is mere hours away (live-stream the event in 360-degree video here.)

As in the past, New Yorkers can get a sneak peek at this year's giant balloons by heading up to the American Museum of Natural History. Beginning at 3pm today, the balloons will be slowly inflated outside of the museum until they’re ready for the big day. It’s fun to watch, but also kind of horrifying! But not this horrifying.
