With one final weekend to get your Christmas shopping done, it helps to do it with a drink in hand. While holiday markets pop up all around town, Soho is throwing its own shopping-centric block party this Thursday from 6–8pm on Howard Street.
Tom Dixon Shop is hosting the neighborhood-wide event, which features stores open late and plenty of free drinks, cookies and giveaways. You can grab hot cider and champagne at Tom Dixon, snap a picture in the holiday booth at the Reformation, indulge in Dominick's Exquisite Hot Chocolate at 11 Howard Hotel, and dance to tunes from DJ Desi Santiago at Opening Ceremony (which will also be donating some of the night's proceeds to the Kids in Need of Defense legal non-profit). Michelle Varian Lifestyles Shop will be hosting an ugly sweater contest, with a $500 prize for the most awful look of the night; and Sleepy Jones will attempt to set a record for jumping up and down on a bed.
Over a dozen stores will be participating, so now is your time to blow through that holiday bonus.
