Hunt ghosts at a creepy old bar in Greenpoint on Wednesday

They're here... and they're right off the L... kind of.

Local adventure group Brooklyn Paranormal Society mobilizes tomorrow night at Greenpoint’s West Wine Bar to investigate reports of paranormal activity (based on the very first tip to the group's toll-free line, 844-666-BKPS). The unidentified caller reported creaks, groans and strange noises at the establishment. Based on the bar's location in a converted factory building, the society suspects that some unhappy—and likely underpaid—former factory workers from a century ago are looking for a release.

The tour through the old factory will be educational, with notes on Revolutionary War era factory conditions, and guests will be using a "supernatural spellbook" and "new, cutting-edge equipment" to get to the bottom of the mystery. Of course, after the tour, the group will head to a nearby bar for drinks.
