Time Out New York’s cover star this week may be our biggest get yet: God. Well, a guy playing him on Broadway, at least. Emmy-winner Jim Parsons heads to the Great White Way starting May 7 in An Act of God, a new play from David Javerbaum based on the popular Twitter account: @TheTweetOfGod. (Yes, you read that right. It’s a Broadway play based on a Twitter feed. In 2015, all the internet's a stage, too!)

Our interview with Parsons about the new comedy is part of this year’s Summer Preview, a look at the can’t-miss events coming up in the months ahead. From the best outdoor parties (Jazz Age Lawn Party) to international arts festivals (The Royal Ballet), this summer promises to be chock-full of outdoor activities and warm-weather fun you’re going to want to start scheduling now. Pick up some tips on making the most of Shakespeare in the Park, and find out where to shop at the brand-new (not that touristy, we promise) South Street Seaport.

Elsewhere in the magazine, we run-down the best places to get fried chicken in the city, and the events you shouldn’t miss at this year’s BAM RadioLoveFest and Red Bull Music Academy. You can also read a review of the new musical Something Rotten! and get a sneak peek of the brand-new Whitney Museum.

If you’re looking for fun things to do this week, we've got the answer to your prayers. See where you can pick up an issue for free tomorrow from 6-10am and 4-7pm below:
