Ah, spring in New York. A time when the city grows lush with trees that smell like semen and the grass in the city’s best parks finally turns that cheery shade of green. From picnics to baseball games, these are just a few reasons to spend time outdoors this season. But Bryant Park Lawn is officially open, so now you have a reason to go outside right this very instant.

Meet your perfect lunch spot: Enjoy the newly-laid grass while eating sandwiches in Manhattan’s Town Square, just south of 59th St. And as if you needed an extra incentive to take a few Instagram photos while you relax and catch some rays, use the hashtag #meetmeonthelawn through Thursday, May 14 to win cool prizes.

Make sure to check out all of Bryant Park’s awesome—and free—activities from dance classes to ping pong, chess and more through summer.
