What’s better than a rooftop bar and a summer music concert? How about a combination of the two. Starting Memorial Day weekend, Greenpoint dance club the Good Room presents a very special summer lineup on the rooftop of event space Dobbin St (located at 64 Dobbin St). Happening every other Sunday, the events showcase a range of local talent and international favorites. The opening party date features famed synth-pop duo Holy Ghost!—and upcoming events include OG Studio 54 resident Nicky Siano, Detroit's Marcellus Pittman and experimental DFA records artist (and LCD Soundsystem collaborator) the Juan MacLean.
These afternoon dance parties go down at the newly renovated space located around the corner from Good Room and less than a block from McCarren Park. Food will be provided by Roberta’s, and a full bar will keep you juiced up and ready to dance into the night.
