Your summer-reads oasis is here, New Yorkers—the New York Public Library's outdoor reading room is officially open for the season, rigged with yellow lounge chairs and shady umbrellas for all of your page-turning pleasure.
Along with bookworm features like staff-picked tomes, a recommendation wall and a book swap, the site will also host a rotating selection of food trucks in the library's plaza off 40th Street every day, with a lineup that includes Red Hook Lobster Pound. Kimchi Taco, Neapolitan Express and Souvlaki GR.
