Governors Ball won't be the only big-tent summer music festival happening in NYC this year: It's been confirmed that Goldenvoice/AEG, the organizer behind Coachella, will bring the inaugural Panorama Music Festival to Randalls Island Park July 22 to July 24. Previous reports had the three-day fest happening in Flushing Meadows–Corona Park in Queens, but the organizers were unable to secure the necessary permits for the venue (initial reports also had the fest taking place within a few weeks of GovBall, though it's smartly been moved to more than a month later). Either way, we're curious to see what acts Panorama brings. Looking at the GovBall lineup, there are some notable omissions of bands already onboard for a Coachella reunion. Might LCD Soundsystem and Guns N' Roses be paying a visit for Panorama? Stay tuned.
