To celebrate the fifth anniversary of Governor's Island summer-music showcase, the Full Moon Festival—featuring sets from Yelle, Tensnake and Soul Clap—organizers are kicking off festival season right with a free ice-cream sandwich giveaway today in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

The Full Moon ice cream truck will be posted up in two locations today offering frozen treats from chef Ilana Saadon's company BardeJar: outside of Soho's Cafe Select from 1pm to 4pm and outside of Roberta's in Bushwick from 5pm to 8pm. That should quell this humidity a bit, eh?
