Want to give those heart valves a jolt? You've already tried everything-bagel doughnuts, so how about a pizza with a topping of tempura?

Fried pizza isn't all that uncommon—Giulio Adriani's Forcella popularized the Naples-born crust-fried Montanara specialty back in 2011–but Sake Bar Hagi 46, the architects behind the gut-busting tempura creation, don't just throw the crust in the deep fryer. They batter an entire slice of pizza in Japanese tempuragive it a dip in a hot-oil bath and then sell it for $6.

Unclear on the source of the actual pie, but we do know one thing—you're gonna want to pick up some Tums on the way home.
