Fried pizza isn't all that uncommon—Giulio Adriani's Forcella popularized the Naples-born crust-fried Montanara specialty back in 2011–but Sake Bar Hagi 46, the architects behind the gut-busting tempura creation, don't just throw the crust in the deep fryer. They batter an entire slice of pizza in Japanese tempura, give it a dip in a hot-oil bath and then sell it for $6.
