Head to Williamsburg from 7 to 10pm tonight for gratis scoops at the new outpost of ice creamery Van Leeuwen at 204 Wythe Avenue. What began as a single roving truck has turned into a mini frozen empire, with this waterfront shop becoming the seventh brick-and-mortar location in New York and Los Angeles.

Like the others, the menu here centers on 16 flavors of classic (gianduja, Earl Grey) and vegan (coffee bean, banana nut) creams. The counter will also offer a host of other confections including: homemade waffle cones, Toby's Estate coffee, Ovenly pastries, root beer floats and Doughnut Plant doughnuts on weekends. In other news, the temperature is expected to hit 90 °F next week, so load up on these frosty treats because summer's not going anywhere soon.
