Swap your soggy salad (yes, we all know that’s your go-to lunch) for free mac and cheese tomorrow in the Upper West Side. The Stouffer’s truck will park on Columbus Ave between 75th and 76th Streets from noon–3pm to dole out cups of comfort food with New York-themed mix-ins like bacon, corned beef and mustard. Get in line, grab your free hump-day pick-me-up and then meet New York restaurateur and Food Network toque Donatella Arpaia (Kefi) in between huge spoonfuls of gooey deliciousness.

Why so much cheese? The electric red kitchen-on-wheels is promoting Stouffer’s new Mac Cups—microwaveable cheesy treats in classic, cheddar-bacon, and cheeseburger flavors. After its pit-stop in Gotham, the Mac Truck will travel to other cities across the country to pair quintessential city eats with their much-loved macaroni. The road-trippin’ truck has already hit Cincinnati, where bowls of cheesy mac were smothered in sweet and savory chili while Chicago’s Mac Hack combined chi-town’s meaty Italian sandwich (roast beef, peppers, onions) with cheesy penne.

Can’t make it to the UWS on your lunch hour? Make a beeline for Macbar or S’Mac.
