Why go to a crowded, stuffy gym when you can work up a sweat in the open-air at one of the best NYC parks? Moreover, why would you pay for an overpriced gym membership when you can burn the same amount of calories for free?
Well, now that we have your attention, we're happy to announce that another green space in Manhattan is offering gratis fitness classes all summer along. The sweat-sesh program, called Citi Summer in the Square, presented by the Union Square Partnership, is located in—yep, you guessed it—Union Square Park and kicks off this Thursday, June 15.
The workouts range from early-morning yoga and dance cardio sessions to a HIIT training class taught by instructors from New York Health & Racquet Club.

Fitness in the Square
5:30–6:30pm Dance Cardio with New York Health & Racquet Club
6:30–7:30pm Cardio HIIT with New York Health & Racquet Club
6:30–7:30pm Paragon Run Club
7:30–8:30pm Sunset Yoga with New York Health & Racquet Club
