As a LGBT vacation staple since the 1960’s, Fire Island is known to host some of the best and most outlandish parties every year. There are tons of shindigs this summer, so we've whittled down the list to eight can't-miss affairs at multiple price points. Warning: You might need to hose yourself down after attending this batch with events ranging from circuit parties to beach gatherings with questionable swimwear choices.

RECOMMENDED: Day Trips from NYC

Pines Party 2016: Physical
BYO unicorn floatie when you turn up at this residential pool party. The opening fest for the infamous annual Pines events, helmed by DJs Dawson and Porsche, is expected to be nonstop aquatic fun. (And if you always wanted to rage at one of Fire Island’s infamous Bay Walk houses, now’s your chance.) If the beach views alone don’t put you in the mood, the numerous dudes frolicking around in Speedos will. Better yet, a ticket guarantees an open bar, which may or may not include your very own cabana-boy host. Is it hot in here, or is it just us? 234 Bay Walk (pinesparty.com). Sat 23 1–6pm; $75.

Pines Party 2016: Xanadu
Since the late ’70s, the Pines Party has rocked beaches of the Atlantic, and this year is no exception. As the coup de grâce of all Fire Island blowouts, the Xanadu-themed beach bash is expected to draw in a crowd of more than a thousand. A special VIP-experience tent on the sand turns X-rated after 3am with one-on-one performances guaranteed to give you, er, Pleasure Dome realness. But if you can’t swing VIP, DJs the Carry Nation and MORABITO provide the jams to ensure you’ll have a great time while thrashing around the surf. You’re guaranteed to get sand in your shorts one way or another. 577 Coast Guard Walk (pinesparty.com). Sat 23 10pm–6am; $195, VIP $280.

Pines Party 2016: Supernova
For those who can party all night long and still rage some more in the morning light, Supernova is for you! Located at the famed Pavilion on Harbor Walk, this event keeps you riding last night’s momentum until noon. Think you can handle it? DJ Peter Napoli is there to help by continuing Xandau’s ambience and vibe. Expect to be surrounded by hot guys as the day heats up, and you’ll have another reason to feel good: All proceeds from this event benefit the Pines and Stonewall Community Foundations. The Pavilion, 37 Harbor Walk (pinesparty.com). Sun 24 6:30am–noon; $50.

SPUNK at Ice Palace
SPUNK has a reputation for the naughty, and now that naughtiness is coming to Cherry Grove. The reoccurring Ice Palace party brings in the hottest assortment of fine gentlemen ever to grace a pole-clad catwalk. The whole affair is hosted by Honey Davenport, and guest DJs spin every Saturday night from 10pm to 4am. P.S.: If you’ve been to any other male revue, then you know to expect pole dancers and lap dances galore. 1 Dock Walk (icepalacefi.com). Sat 10pm–4am; $10.

SPRAY! Fire Island Beach Party
Sunday August 14 will be a killer night. From the creators of ShareGurl, this festivity is slated to be the next big thing when it comes to Fire Island fetes. SPRAY! rocks an aquatic theme, and this year’s party is shaping up to be even better than last year’s, with water cannons, massive inflatables, interactive installations and synchronized performances. There’s also high-quality music by Bent Collective, Danny Verde and Steven Redant. Prepare to get wet. Fire Island Pines Beach (sprayfireisland.com). Aug 14 noon–7pm; $150, VIP $200.

C-IN2 Presents: The KIKI
If you’re looking for a cheap party (which can be hard at Fire Island) then checkout C-IN2 Presents: THE KIKI. This cobranded bash brought to you by Next Magazine, ShareGurl, and PartyLikeJoe is one of the only free parties this summer that provides an open bar, drag queen performances and hot sets provided by DJ Michael Trotter and DJ Caleb Mainsonet. 231 Bay Walk. Jul 23 2–5pm; free.

Pinesfest 2016: The Power of Community
Closing the summer is Pine Fest. This three-day beach festival starts September 3 with musical sets from Crazibiza, Ron Carroll, Diego Harispe, Dragronfly and more. On top of the amazing lineup, there will be a never-ending drag party and beach yoga. All proceeds from this event will be contributed to the Hetrick-Martin Institute. Fire Island Pines Beach. Sept 3–5 noon–10pm; three-day pass $300.

Daniel Nardicio and the Belvedere Guest House present Spartacus V: Rise of the Dicktator
If you’ve ever been to the Belvedere Guest House then you know…you just know. Surpassing the summer limits is this Spartacus themed party, which is guaranteed to produce the full monty with all night gladiator go-go boys and the fourth Mr. Nude Belvedere Contest. Winners will receive $400 for exposing their naughty bits. The Belvedere Guest House for Men, 30 Bay View Walk, Cherry Grove. Sept 10 7–11pm; $45.
