The annual and very beloved Feast of San Gennaro returns to Little Italy September 15! Now celebrating it’s 90th year, the 11-day salute to the Patron Saint of Naples is expected to attract more than one-million people. But all faith and religious processions aside, we reckon folks will be piling in for the amazing grub and the joyous activities.

We’ll give you the low-down on what incredible Italian dishes you can munch on this year and the best restaurants to celebrate, but first, we’re sharing some of the awesome things you can do during the red, white and green bash. Every day, you can anticipate colorful parades, free music and entertainment like the world-famous cannoli eating competition. Here is a tentative schedule of the big events during the feast this month. Remember: This is one of the best NYC events in September, so mark your calendar!

On Thursday, September 15 kick-off the festival with Italian jazz performer Johnny Mandolin followed by the Blessing of Stands.

The grand Cannoli Eating Contest (#godbless), will take place Friday, September 16.

The Grand Procession and Floats featuring Queen Skyla Marie Lombardi and the Grand Marshall (TBA) occurs Saturday, September 17.

On Monday, September 19 is the Feast Day Mass and Procession (6pm).  

Other performers and guests include Christina Fontanelli, Angelo Venuto, Gianni Russo and many more.
