There was a spectacular double rainbow over NYC yesterday

We’re suddenly craving a rainbow bagel for some reason…. Right as New Yorkers were about to leave work yesterday, a flash storm hit the city with a reprieve from the warmest summer ever. Afterward, there were one of those stunning NYC rainbows we all love to Instagram. (It. Never. Gets. Old.) It was spotted in its natural habitat, peeking out between buildings near the Empire State Building. There was even a double rainbow is some places, a meteorological occurrence where light from the sun is refracted by water droplets to create a spectrum. (Are you still reading this? Don’t lie; you’re just here to see the photos.)
