If you smashed all five NYC boroughs together and drew a heavenly, easily-accessible beach straight down the end, you'd pretty much have Tel Aviv, Israel. With dope ice cream, beautiful people and a stupendously integrated LGBT community, Tel Aviv has been drawing a proportionally large amount of tourists (with 2.8 million North Americans visiting last year—nearly half the size of Israel's population).
Now, WOW Air is making the 10-12 hour flight easier to book than ever, with $149 one-way flights from NYC, Chicago, Boston, Montreal and Toronto and $199 flights San Francisco and L.A. going on sale tomorrow. Of course, this price covers the flight only—to pick your seat, check bags and actually eat food while crossing continents, you'll have to shell out a bit extra. Still, there's no denying that this is a crazy deal.
