One of our favorite summer festivals is back and bigger than ever! Elements Music and Art Festival, run by epic party-throwers BangOn!NYC, returns for its fourth year of all-day dancing, drinking and art along the Bronx waterfront.

The fest is expanding to two days, August 12 and 13, and has a killer lineup of artists on multiple stages including headliners Griz, The Knocks, Zeds Dead and Flying Lotus. The party starts around noon with sets from dozens of DJs (including Detroit house legend Kerri Chandler) and stretches on till night, when afterparties begin, and there's plenty of performances and art installations to check out in the meantime.

In past years, aerial performers dangled in the air from rooftops overhead, fire breathers roamed the grounds and professional waterskiers did tricks off of platforms in the water. You can also immerse yourself in interactive theater and check out artwork throughout the grounds. The setting itself feels like you've journeyed out into a industrial desert dystopia. "Art cars," or buses made up to look like jungles or boom boxes, are meant to be climbed, and this year there will be a pirate ship to explore! Plus, there's plenty of food trucks and bars for refueling.

One-day passes are on sale right now starting at $85. Happy summer!
