Manhattan is now covered in white confetti from the aftermath of the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team ticker-tape parade (kicked off at 11am). Shortly after their World Cup triumph, thousands gathered to cheer and celebrate the ladies’ heroic win over Japan in a 5-2 victory—marking their first World Cup win since 1999.

The festivities end with a celebration at City Hall Park, where Mayor Bill de Blasio will hand the stars a key to the city.
