And the prize for best Halloween costume goes to….
No, not your Eleven costume accessorized with a box of waffles. Skater Jesse Wellens hit the streets as the Silver Surfer, and he’s the clear winner of Halloween in NYC. The Venice Beach, CA, resident swapped surfing in the actual ocean for boarding through the city. Fully covered in bodypaint, he skated through traffic, gave out high fives and stopped for selfies. Now that’s a real superhero.
The Silver Surfer doesn’t have a Marvel movie yet, but it’s pretty clear who the star should be. We’d rather watch this video than sit through Green Lantern any day:
