Not only is Tim Sweeney celebrating the birthday of his influential mix show and website Beats in Space (dedicated to outer-limits dance music of all sorts) at this early-starting affair, but it's been just about a year since he inaugurated his label of the same name. The first half of the two-day party features a live set from the on-fire team of Superpitcher and Rebolledo, together known as Pachanga Boys (this marks the duo's U.S. debut). Andrés—also known as DJ Dez, the one-time touring turntablist for Slum Village—hits the decks, as does Sweeney himself.
