Industry of Machines and Ad Hoc: Traxx + Powell + Torn Hawk

The electronics-oriented Industry of Machines affair teams up with the Ad Hoc website and zine to host a night of late-night rhythms. Leading the way is Chicago's Traxx, the aficionado of down-and-dirty analog action who heads Nation Records. But there's plenty more in the way of underground action as well, with the U.K.'s Powell—the leader of the Diagonal label who favors a minimalist, industrial style—making his U.S. debut, and L.I.E.S.' Torn Hawk laying down his lo-fi, guitar-meets–drum-machine amalgam.
