Unpack low-grade trauma and heal minor childhood wounds at Cheap Therapy, the debut live comedy show from the team behind the Hoes With Feelings podcast. Two comedians and self-proclaimed "untrained professionals" Karolena Theresa and Melissa Rich will provide laughs and unsolicited advice to the show's guest comedians and audience. After each comic's set, they will receive a therapy session from the podcast hosts.
Audience members are invited to enter their names (and what they'd like to focus on in this session) for a chance to take the stage and heal in real time. As the event organizers say, "unlike actual therapy, cocktails are both allowed and encouraged."
The show's on Friday, Feburary 2 in the Living Room at Arlo SoHo.
