You've got a date on Saturday night with Kelly Cooper. At the solo show aptly titled "Kelly Cooper Takes You on a Date," that's exactly what's happening.
This partially improvised, partially scripted and wholly experiential solo play places the audience on a first date with the comedian, who's desperate to find true love despite not knowing what she wants. This show satirizes the New York dating experience and the cultural impact of romantic comedies begging the question: with so many ways to date and fall in love, how did dating become so complicated?!
Guest performers include Ian Lockwood, Danielle Fisher Clarke, Tej Khanna, Thomas Frances and Cristian Uriostegui in addition to musical accompaniment by Kaye Loggins a featured performance by Tim Meyer.
Your date begins at 7pm on Saturday, February 4 at Brooklyn Comedy Collective.
