After taking on The Notebook and The Dark Knight, Entirely From Memory—a group of improvisers, actors, and comedians who attempt (and fail) to recreate classic stories in front of a live audience—are breaking out their tearaway pants and best gyrating moves for Magic Mike.
On Thursday, August 15, performers will get their Channing Tatum on and try to retell the Steven Soderberg favorite sans scripts, rehearsal or sobriety. (“All they will have is their memory, a recent viewing of the film, and a lot of wigs,” organizers assure.) They won’t even know what roles they are playing until they get onstage, and will have to incorporate both lines written by the audience and sound effects played by the tech booth. Horny, hilarious chaos shall ensue!
