Time Out says

Forgot the adage "you can't teach an old dog new tricks." At this new comedy show called "New Tricks," all the performers are over the age of 40.

The event’s organizer, Adrianne Frost, describes the show “delicious storytelling treats by a pack of old dogs.” Plus, it promises to prove that good storytelling knows no age. As a comedian in her early 50s, Frost said she got tired of making references that she had to explain, so she founded the show as a new option in the New York comedy scene.

This month's event is on Sunday, September 17 at QED Astoria in Queens with the theme "first day of high school." Storytellers include Michele Carlo, Jeff Simmermon, Rory Scholl,  Cynthia Levin and Jaime Brickhouse with host Adrianne Frost. If you miss it in September, the show runs monthly on the third Sunday.
