Women Stand Up NYC, a standup training and production company, hosts shows that highlight people of marginalized genders and members of the LGBTQIA+ community for a night of laughter. The women-led organization creates a space to empower people with lived experiences of misogyny through standup comedy.
The show on Thursday, April 27 at The Kraine Theater will feature first-time comics and alumni of the group's training program, including Leorah Wood, Susan Dorf, Paula J. Leon, Alex Kim, Cansu Karabitik, Zubaira Ahmed and Pooja Reddy.
