Time Out says
Garrone’s more-than-vaguely sensationalist tale of the brutal Camorra crime syndicate was overpraised during its U.S. release. It takes a have-its-cake-and-eat-it-too approach to the material, especially in the case of two machine-gun-wielding teens who worship De Palma’s Scarface (incidentally, a superior crime film in just about every particular).
