Jacobs once again takes a single scene—this time, from a 1903 Edison short filmed at an amusement park—and elongates, separates and explores its various elements from a number of angles. What were once tiny details now take up the entire frame, and strobe-light effects are utilized ad nauseam. Heady stuff, folks.
