Employing a scenario that Bill Forsyth would later swipe for the Robin Williams stinker Being Human, Keaton depicts a man seeking romance in the Stone Age, then in classical Rome, then in (then-) modern times. Also on the bill is the Keaton short "The Scarecrow" (1920).
