Ahhh, spring in New York: The cherry blossom trees come out, the sleeves disappear and every gay bear emerges from their cave for the annual Urban Bear Weekend. The highlight of UBW for many is the Bear Fair, which draws thousands of fuzzy revelers eager to drink beer, dance and mingle in the great outdoors. This year’s fair included a pig roast, music from DJ Chauncey D and a beer garden courtesy of Brass Monkey. And because Bears are deeply romantic, a portion of the proceeds went to Marriage Equality USA.
