To celebreate the closing of the art exhibit Sangre Sagrade (Sacred Blood), Brooklyn's Gallery Particulier is hosting an open mic night for queer talent on Sunday, January 7. The event, titled Sagrados Son Los Queers - Sacred are the Queers, invites performers, poets, singers, and more.
Artwork by Lupe Inès Cariño will form the backdrop for the evening.
"We hold events as a way to expose people to visual arts," event organizers say. "Typically, galleries and art museums are intimidating. We offer an experience that's warm and intimate."
